Back in September sweet Brooklyn turned 8yrs old, and had a Bunny birthday party. However, since we were waiting for grandma Hall to arrive with all her bunnies (she has an actual bunny room at her house on the lake, and was coming the following weekend for Brooklyn's baptism) we had a simple little family celebration on her real birthday first.
Then Friday afternoon we had the Bunny Party. Grandma brought LOTS of her bunnies from Seattle...so we did a bang-up job decorating the whole kitchen with bunnies. (of coarse I took NO pictures)
We played pin the "cotton ball" tail on the bunny, button button who has the "bunny" button, made little sock bunnies out of rice and ribbons, ate carrots for snacks and much more! It was so fun to have all these darling girls in our home, I love birthday parties!
As soon as the party ended, I mean like minutes after it ended we all loaded up in the car and headed to Brooklyn's soccer game. Then we stopped of at McDonalds, noteworthy because it never happens, for a quick dinner on our way to Cousin Nika's Homecoming Halftime show!
It was a perfect chilly fall night at the football statium...
Grandma and Grandpa with Nika...
Love to watch this girl dance, it's like magic when she's out there.
One happy 8yr. old and a tired mom & grandma.
