How long we've had our sweet little baby Mitt with us. He was born two weeks ago today at 1:30 in the afternoon. He weighted 6.8 and is perfect.
The amount of hugs & kisses and, "Can I hold him?" requests he's received over the last two weeks. He's very loved and cared for by all his brothers and sisters...especially the Big and not so big sister:)
Fifteen. How long it took for Grandma and Grandpa to jump in their car and drive from Seattle to meet baby Mitt and help around the house. Thanks, we loved having you here- couldn't have done that first week without you.
Number of hours it took to take down all the Christmas decorations in anticipation of the New Year and new baby. We LOVED having Christmas in our Cozy house this year. We moved in a few days before Christmas last year, so it was thrilling to unpack the decorations and make our home festive for the first time!
One.The number of Santa's that made an unexpected and much appreciated visit to our home just a few nights before Christmas. We had some neighbors over for dessert and the knock at the door made it an evening to remember for our children and their friends.
Bowls of candy at the annual Gingerbread House making party. We had a great holiday season filled with family, parties, chilly outings, twinkling lights, Nativities, friends and lots of tasty treats.
The number of kids that woke us up at 6am Christmas morning with stars in their eyes...
We had an exciting Christmas morning filled with hugs, laughter, traditional breakfast and alot of HULK smashing things:)
The Number of Dowdle Cousins all together during Thanksgiving. It was so fun to be able to visit Sunny California for the big feast and spend so much time with family.
Now you're all caught up on the Dowdle family whether you wanted to be or not. I'm excited for the new year, grateful to not be pregnant anymore and feel blessed to have Mitt here safe and sound. I hope I get to visit this little space of internet more often moving forward- then again, I've said that before....Only time will tell.
