Before she turns 8....

I want to document that she was 7!

Yes, It's true. It's been weeks since Brooklyn turned 7, but for posterities sake I want to document that we celebrated and it was a ton of fun! 

We spent the evening of her actual birthday at the beautiful Thanksgiving Point gardens. We visit them often but since it was a special day Dad rented a golf cart to drive around...you would have thought we passed out airplane tickets to Hawaii, I've never seen happier kids.
 They each took turns driving the cart until Brooklyn spotted the perfect little cove encircled with flowers and rose bushes to open her gifts.

Tatum was most excited about her present..

and Brooklyn was most excited about her new horse sheets!

We spent the whole evening driving around the trees and flowers enjoying the beautiful weather and together time. Ty found a snake, I spotted the frog and Dad almost crashed the golf cart, with some help from a lap driver named Cache:) It was funny.

The next morning Grandma and Grandpa Dowdle flew into town, a special treat that they were here for her party, and we had her friends over for some colorful fun.

Last but not least is always the cupcakes.......it was a fun party. I'm so grateful to have a beautiful daughter to celebrate, and great family and friends to share the happy times with!

.....I'm sure it will seem like the blink of an eye before she turns 8.
